Shayona Vidhyavihar Higher Secondary School, with definite aims and objectives, was founded in 2012. It is run by Ghanshyam Charitable Trust.The school, situated at Ahmedabad – Gujarat has its definite aims and objectives, and to realise these ideals in practice, varied opportunities are provided in the school so that the young saplings may blossom fully in a cheerful, graceful and free atmosphere. The school is co-educational and the medium of instruction is English and Gujarati. The school maintains a very high standard of discipline and quality education, not to forget the concentration on the physical, mental and moral development of its students.
Shayona Vidhyavihar Higher Secondary School is recognised and affiliated to Gujarat State Education Board (GSEB) – Gujarat. It prepares students for Gujarat Board Examination in both Science and Commerce streams. We also prepare students for other competitive exams like GUJCET, JEE, NEET etc.
Shayona Vidhyavihar Higher Secondary School had a dream. Over the years, this dream became our vision. Today, we live that dream – the dream for the students in which each child grows to her/his full potential; that she /he grows into an emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually confident human being; that irrespective of what she/he achieves in life, she/he remains grounded and is strong enough to provide the much needed emotional and moral stability to all those who stand in need of.

The school has spacious and well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Mathematics and Computer. Students are imparted practical education under the watchful eyes of the instructors and teachers.
The Physics lab is fully equipped with apparatus to carry out experiments and activities prescribed by GSEB and investigatory projects related to mechanics, light, magnetism, electricity, heat and optics. It is a well maintained lab with all necessary equipments required to perform experiments.
The chemistry department of Shayona Higher Secondary School offers courses in Chemistry up to class XII as per GSEB requirements and syllabus. All chemicals and equipments required for practicals and projects are provided. The lab has running water with ample storage area for chemicals, equipment and balances. The students are allotted their own experiment tables in batches and each such table contains every necessary reagent for experimental purpose. A full time, qualified lab attendant is also present to help the students during practicals.
In the Biology lab, preserved specimens, charts and prepared slides depict how complex forms of life were evolved from simpler ones. It has all the necessary equipments for experimental purpose. Students attend biology practicals with enthusiasm because it is only through this subject that they understand the role of modern concepts like genetic engineering in today’s life.
The courses of studies for the subject sighted in the scheme studies are those prepared by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) New Delhi and adopted by Govt. of India for Central Schools. Necessary Text-Books based on this curriculum is published by the Publication Wing, NCERT as well as private published (whose publication is prescribed by the Board) are followed by the teachers to cover up in the curriculum.

The school is affiliated to GSEB (Gujarat State Education Board) and has all the two streams SCIENCE & COMMERCE on its curriculum, for both boys and girls from class XI to class XII. The school strives to maintain excellence in Academics, so that in today’s competitive world the students may be able to proceed to institutions of higher learning of their Choice, in India and abroad. The students of the school, therefore, have been achieving very good results at both SECONDARY and HIGHER SECONDARY level exams conducted by the GSEB, as a result of the efforts put in by the highly dedicated faculty. The school has technically equipped LABORATORIES, a well-stocked LIBRARY and excellent COMPUTER faculties.
School follows Gujarat govt. approved semester pattern where each semester pattern where each semester has two formative assessment & one summative assessment.
The XII students are allowed the Centre as per their Examination Roll Nos. given to them. The students do not write their exams in their own school. The result is generally declared through GSEB website.
